Beverly W. Aisenbrey
Mrs. Aisenbrey joined the firm in 1982 after receiving her M.B.A. in finance from Rutgers University. She is a Managing Director in the New York Office. Additionally, Mrs. Aisenbrey is a former Trustee of Rutgers University, a Trustee of the American Association for Cancer Research Foundation and is a member of the Advisory Board of Compensation and Benefits Review. She received her B.A. from Douglass College in 1975.

Richard L. Alpern
Mr. Alpern joined the firm in 2004, having previously been employed as an attorney at the law firm of Sullivan & Cromwell for 24 years.  He is a Principal in our New York office.  He received a B.A. from Harpur College of Binghamton University and a J.D. from New York University School of Law.  He is a member of the New York State Bar and the New Jersey Bar.

Stephan D. Bosshard
Mr. Bosshard joined the firm in 2006 and is located in the New York office. He was previously employed as a consultant in the Strategy & Analysis department at Digitas, Inc. He received a BS in Chemical Engineering from MIT.

Logan M. Carr
Ms. Carr joined the firm in 2008 and is an executive compensation consultant in our New York office. Ms. Carr earned her B.S. degree in Finance with a minor concentration in Economics from Fairfield University. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Carr held intern positions at Pearl Meyer and Partners, Smith Barney, and Deutsche Bank.

Michael P. Chavira
Mr. Chavira, a Principal, joined the firm in 2001 after previously being employed as an executive compensation consultant with Pearl Meyer & Partners. Mr. Chavira earned his undergraduate degree in economics from Columbia University.

Laura L. Clements, CCP
Ms. Clements is located in the Atlanta office. Prior to joining the firm in 2007, she worked for Mercer Human Resource Consulting in the Human Capital practice for 21 years, and prior to that at Hewitt Associates LLC in their retirement practice. Ms. Clements holds a B.A. in mathematics from the University of Virginia and holds the designation of Certified Compensation Professional (CCP). She is also a member of WorldatWork and the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals.

David M. Cole
Mr. Cole, a Principal, joined the firm's New York office in 1999. He was previously employed as a consultant with Towers Perrin and Kwasha Lipton. Mr. Cole received a M.A. and B.S. in mathematics from the State University of New York at Albany and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.


Frederic W. Cook
Mr. Cook is Founding Director. Prior to forming the firm in 1973, Mr. Cook was a principal with Towers Perrin, which he joined in 1966 following four years as a U.S. Marine Corps infantry officer and graduation from Dartmouth College. Mr. Cook speaks and writes frequently on compensation topics, is an honorary life member of the American Compensation Association, a fellow in the National Academy of Human Resources, and the 1996 recipient of the WorldatWork's Keystone Award.

Katrin L. Cox
Ms. Cox joined the firm in 2008 and is located in the Chicago office. She received a B.S. in Mathematical and Computational Sciences from Stanford University.

Scott J. Evenson
Mr. Evenson joined the firm in 2001, having previously worked on the research staff at SmartMoney Magazine. He holds a M.A. in Economics from New York University and a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University.

Brandon S. Fenton
Mr. Fenton joined the firm in 2008 and currently works in the San Francisco office. He was previously an executive compensation consultant for Towers Perrin and prior to that he worked for Standard & Poors. He has an MSW and BBA from the University of Michigan, where his studies concentrated on finance, accounting, organizational behavior and non-profit management.

Erin Bass-Goldberg

Ms. Bass-Goldberg, a Principal, joined the firm in 1998 having previously consulted with The Hay Group and Arthur Andersen. She earned her MBA in finance from Columbia Business School and a BA in economics from Lafayette College.

David E. Gordon
Mr. Gordon joined the firm in 2008 as a Principal in our Los Angeles office, having previously been a Managing Director at Pearl Meyer & Partners and, prior to that, a Partner and Chair of the Tax Department at O’Melveny & Myers LLP. He holds an A.B. from Harvard College and a J.D. from Harvard Law School, where he was a member of the Law Review.


Danielle Grant
Ms. Grant joined the firm in 2007 and is located in the Atlanta office. Ms. Grant received her M.I.L.R. degree, with a concentration in human resources, from Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations and her B.A. from Columbia University in psychology.


Edward D. Graskamp
Mr. Graskamp worked for the firm from 1984 to 1993, rejoining in 2004 as a Managing Director and head of the Chicago office. Mr. Graskamp has also worked for McKinsey & Co., Watson Wyatt, and William M. Mercer. He holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, a J.D. from the Hamline University School of Law, and a B.S. in biology from Wartburg College. He is a member of the Minnesota Bar Association.


Thomas M. Haines
Mr. Haines joined the firm in 1991 with five years of experience as a tax consultant with the Minneapolis office of Ernst & Young. He is a Managing Director in our Chicago office. Mr. Haines is a certified public accountant (CPA) with a Masters degree in business taxation (MBT) from the University of Minnesota and a Bachelors degree in business accounting from the University of St. Thomas.

G. Steven Harris, CCP
Mr. Harris is Managing Director and head of the Atlanta office. Prior to joining the firm in 2007, he was a Worldwide Partner and worked for 19 years with Mercer. Mr. Harris has also worked for Ernst & Young, and for Fortune 100 & 200 companies. He also serves as the Consulting Industry Advisor on executive compensation matters to the Human Resources Policy Association (HRPA). He holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in psychology and has an M.B.A. from Indiana University. He is also a faculty member and frequent speaker for WorldatWork and holds the designation of Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).

Wendy J. Hilburn
Ms. Hilburn, a Principal in our New York office, began her career with the firm in 1979, following positions in the human resources and corporate planning departments of International Paper Company. Ending a leave begun in 1988, she rejoined the firm in 1996. Ms. Hilburn received a B.S. from Duke University and an M.B.A. from New York University

Claude E. Johnston
Mr. Johnston joined the firm in 2005 as a Managing Director in our New York office, having previously been a Managing Director at Pearl Meyer & Partners for ten years and, prior to that, a Partner and Chairman of the Executive Compensation Practice Group at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP. He holds an A.B. from Colgate University, a J.D. from Tulane Law School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Law Review, and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University.


Jeffrey W. Joyce

Mr. Joyce joined the firm in 2006 and is located in our New York Office. Prior to joining the firm, he worked for Towers Perrin, SCA Consulting, and most recently Hewitt Associates. Mr. Joyce has extensive consulting experience in the areas of executive compensation, corporate governance, and value based management. He received a B.S. in Management from the Crouse Hinds School of Management at Syracuse University and an M.B.A. from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.


Noah T. Kaplan
Mr. Kaplan joined the firm’s Los Angeles office in 2007, having previous been employed as an executive compensation consultant at Towers Perrin. He holds a M.B.A. in finance and strategy from Claremont Graduate University’s Peter F. Drucker School of Management and a B.A. in economics from Claremont McKenna College.


Jeffrey M. Kanter

Mr. Kanter, a Managing Director, joined the firm in 1985 having been previously employed by Kwasha Lipton as an executive compensation consultant. Mr. Kanter has a legal background with specialization in taxation. He received a B.A. from Bucknell University, a J.D. from New England School of Law, and an M.B.A. from Monmouth College.

Michael J. Kenney
Mr. Kenney is a consultant in the Chicago office. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, he was employed as a consultant at BASES, a market research company. He has earned BAs from the University of Chicago in Economics and Statistics.

Alexa H. Kierzkowski
Ms. Kierzkowski joined the firm in 2004. She has held positions with Mattel, HSX Holdings, Inc. and McKinsey & Company. She holds an MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management and a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Brown University.


James E. Kim
Mr. Kim, a Managing Director, joined the firm's Los Angeles office in 1998 and is currently head of the San Francisco office. He earned his BA in economics from The University of Chicago and an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the Graduate School of Business of the University of Chicago.

Charles Y. King
Mr. King joined the firm’s Atlanta office in 2008, having previously spent seven years with Towers Perrin as an executive compensation consultant. He received a B.S. in Human and Organizational Development from Vanderbilt University.


Steven L. Knotz

Mr. Knotz joined the firm in 2004 and currently works in the San Francisco office. He received a BA in mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley.

Michael R. Marino
Mr. Marino, a Consultant in our New York office, joined the firm in 2009. Previously, he spent 4 years as a senior executive compensation consultant and the Director of Performance Metrics in Watson Wyatt's Compensation Consulting Practice, where he led the firm's practice in financial analysis and performance measurement. Prior to Watson Wyatt, Mr. Marino worked at Merrill Lynch as an Analyst and Associate in the Investment Banking Division. He has an MBA from Columbia University, an MA in Organizational Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University and a BA with Honors from William Paterson College.


Kathryn L. Neel
Ms. Neel joined the Firm in 2007 and is an executive compensation consultant in our New York office. Previously, she worked for the global accounting firm Ernst & Young L.L.P. out of their New York office where she obtained her license as a Certified Public Accountant. Ms. Neel earned her B.S. in accounting at the University at Albany School of Business.

Silvana A. Nuzzo
Ms. Nuzzo joined the firm in 2004, having previously been employed at Merrill Lynch and Pearl Meyer & Partners.  Ms. Nuzzo earned her undergraduate degree in English from Hunter College.

George B. Paulin
Mr. Paulin joined the firm in 1982. He is the firm's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and head of the Los Angeles office. He has prior consulting experience with The Wyatt Company and Lee & Paulin Associates. Mr. Paulin received a master's degree from the Institute of Labor and Industrial Relations at the University of Illinois, and earned his undergraduate degree in economics.


Michael P. Reznick
Mr. Reznick, a Principal, joined the firm in 2000 having previously consulted in the executive compensation practices of William M. Mercer and KPMG. He earned a B.A. in Economics and Classics from Brown University.


Daniel J. Ryterband
Mr. Ryterband is the firm's President and the head of the New York office. He joined the firm in 1997, having previously spent five years with Towers Perrin as an executive compensation and benefits consultant and three years with A. Foster Higgins & Co. He holds an M.B.A. in finance and management from New York University, a B.S. in economics from Rutgers University, and is a certified employee benefit specialist.

Claudio G. Schneider
Mr. Schneider joined the firm’s New York office in 2008, having previously been employed as a paralegal at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. He received a B.A. in Government from Cornell University.

Dhananjay “DJ” Shetty
Mr. Shetty joined the firm in 2002 after previously being employed at GE Capital’s corporate compensation group. Prior to that he was employed at Towers Perrin for six years as an executive compensation and benefits consultant. Mr. Shetty earned an M.B.A. in finance from New York University, a B.A. in Economics from Fordham University, and is a certified employee benefit specialist.


Cimi B. Silverberg
Ms. Silverberg, a Principal, joined the firm’s Chicago office in 2003. She was previously Senior Director of FPL Associates Compensation, an executive compensation consulting firm focused on the real estate and related financial services industries. Prior to that, she was a consultant with Deloitte Consulting Group. She holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences from Northwestern University.


Kenneth H. Sparling
Mr. Sparling joined the firm in 2007 and is located in the Los Angeles office. He earned a B.A. in Economics and Mathematics from Amherst College.


Louis C. Taormina
Mr. Taormina joined the firm in 2000 after graduating from the University of Florida where he earned a J.D. and an M.B.A in finance and security analysis. He earned a B.S. in Biology from Florida State University. Mr. Taormina is a member of The New York State Bar and The Florida Bar.


Eric Winikoff
Mr. Winikoff joined the firm in 2005 and is located in our New York Office. He has held positions with Amgen, Mercer and Hewitt. He holds an MBA from UCLA's Anderson School of Management and a B.S. in Management Science from the University of California, San Diego.


David K. Yang
David is a consultant based in the Chicago office. Prior to joining the firm in 1999, he was employed by Diversified Investment Advisors and William M. Mercer. He earned a BS in psychology from the University of Illinois and an MBA in finance and management from DePaul University.
